Property Description:
The property is located 2,200 feet above the Tyrrhenian Coastline. Ravella is located on the Amalfi Coast, about 280 KM from Rome. It is about 70 KM to the Naples Airport. Salerno is about 40 KM and Positano is 25 KM. The Land is approximately 7.5 acres, close to 5 acres is terraced. It has an acre of chestnut groves and cypress tress. The House is approximately 5,500 square feet. There are five fireplaces plus a wood burning pizza oven in the kitchen. There are six bedrooms and two studies. There is one double living room and a dining room. All the rooms open to terraces. There are no guest houses though there is an old farmhouse and a cantina that could be converted into guesthouses. There are no garages and no motor court, the cars can only arrive at the main square, you must walk along a level paved pathway to the first locked gate. Through the gate there is a hundred yards or so of path where you pass by a few villas, then you come to the gate of the Vidal Property. Then there is another 100 yards or so of level walk and 15 steps down to the house. A golf cart would be very useful. One could arrive by helicopter and land on the pad of the Villa Cimbrone Hotel which is just above the Vidal Villa with a private connecting path and gate. There is a swimming pool with a pool house below with sauna, changing rooms and a small kitchen. There is no tennis court but they are available in the area. The estate is considered to be one of the most beautiful estates in Europe.
